Garden bars are proving to be one of the biggest garden trends of 2021 with thousands of people searching the web for ideas and inspiration daily.
According to Google, over 28,000* people tap in the term ‘garden bar’ or ‘how to create a garden bar’ each month and with many of us still nervous about welcoming people back into our houses, garden bars look set to provide the perfect solution offering the perfect night out whilst still at home. Recent Aurora research by Forest Garden suggests that 6 million** people in the UK are creating outdoor entertainment areas in order to host friends and family at home, “it’s a massive amount of people that want to really maximise their garden spaces in order to lift their social lives whilst bringing back a sense of normality into their lives,” said Forest Garden Marketing Manager Jenny Davis.
She continued: “This year, the bar in your backyard trend looks set to continue as people welcome family and friends back into their lives. As a result of this, Forest Garden has created a new modular garden bar that that can be poshed-up and painted or enjoyed as it is and that supports this desire and passion for being in our own spaces with those that matter most to us most.”
The 6 x 3 Dip Treated Shiplap Pent Garden Bar is made from shiplap tongue and groove and has solid timber floor. It has a single-entry door which can be fitted to open either way and has a padbolt and hidden hinges making this a secure bar-in-a-shed ideal for storing precious single malts and aged wines. Fitted with bifold shutters to create the perfect serving hatch effect, this highly attractive outdoor drinking den allows for cocktails and beer to be served on a solid wooden bar area whilst guests sit on bar stools whiling away the hours.
Jenny concluded: “The best thing about this home bar is that you can make it your own. Paint it, decorate it as a tiki bar or a gin bar, add optics and accessorise it to your hearts content. It’s guaranteed to get the party started and, of course, one of the major benefits of having it in your garden is that once you’ve finished enjoying your beer you just secure it and walk the few feet to the comfort of your own bed. What is more, in the winter months, this handy space can double up as a drinks store of of course it can be used for storage.”
The Dip Treated Shiplap Pent Garden Bar is made in the UK from FSC® certified timber and comes with a 10-year anti-rot guarantee.
