Forest Garden
Outdoor Living with a Relaxed and Rustic Feel

18th June 2018

As the weather heats up, the garden beckons, and thoughts turn to lazy summer days spent relaxing and entertaining outside. To make your outside space as enjoyable and usable as possible, garden furniture is an essential buy. Forest Garden, the UK’s leading and most trusted manufacturer and distributor of quality wooden garden products, has created the 3-Step Modular Furniture range of low-level sleeper tables and benches, and gives advice on choosing a seating arrangement to make the best use of your outside space.

The first thing to consider is the type of layout you would like. This big question can be made more manageable by thinking about how you want to use your garden. For example, if you enjoy having lots of friends and family over for meals outside, then a 1.2metre Low Sleeper Table surrounded by Sleeper Benches provides ample seating in a relaxed, inclusive layout.

If you have less space outside then positioning two Sleeper Benches together at 90 degrees, combined with a smaller 0.7metre Low Sleeper Table, creates an informal corner seating arrangement that can be positioned overlooking an area of the garden that provides the best views.

The next step is to decide on the size of your seating. There are four different Sleeper Benches available – 0.9metre, 1.2metre, 1.5metre and 1.8metre – so you choose as many benches as you require. There is also a Double Sleeper Planter/Table available which can interlock two benches together and can be used either as a container for your favourite flowers, herbs or shrubs to add some colour and fragrance, or used as a table to provide extra space for plates and glasses.

Finally, choose between a 0.7metre or 1.2metre Low Sleeper Table to finish off your design.

The 3-Step Modular range is a contemporary, chunky design which will fit beautifully in most garden schemes. To ensure the longevity of products they are all constructed from pressure-treated timber which carries a 15-year anti-rot guarantee.
