The ‘Gardener’s Garden Show’ set in Woburn’s lavish grounds.
Your first thoughts of Woburn might be of the Safari Park and days out as a young child but nestled within the huge expanse of the Woburn Estate sits the Abbey and a further 42 acres of stunning gardens. This was the location of the ‘Gardener’s Garden Show’ at the end of June that Forest were proud to support.
Highlights of the 2019 Woburn Abbey Garden Show, celebrating its 10th anniversary, included demonstrations and talks from popular BBC presenters, an Artisan Food Hall and Luxury Gift Emporium. A wide range of award-winning nursey exhibitors displayed a diverse array of plants in the Plant Village, alongside retailers offering a wide range of home and garden products.
Forest’s Burford Half Arbour was the focal point of ‘The Retreat’, an area for visitors to relax in and located in front of Woburn’s famous cedar tree – a stunning setting!
The arbour was painted with Thorndown Paint’s Sedge Green which further complemented its surroundings. Painting Forest products can personalise your products and easily transform your garden, adding a splash of colour where needed.
In addition to the Half Arbour, Forest’s new Infinity Arches were a prominent feature at the show. Five of these contemporary structures were positioned around the show to create decorative features around the grounds.
Designed to draw your eye through the arch and ideal for use over a walkway or path, it plays with perspective to give depth to any garden.
The show is set to return in 2020 filled with even more existing exhibits, talks and displays set against the Abbey’s stunning backdrop.
